Tenerife Whales and Dolphins Watching We will meet you in Puerto’s colon at Gate Number 5, fifteen minutes before your departure time. The name of the Boat is Sky Line. You will receive all the details by emal. You can show at the gate the booking ticket that you will have on your mobile phone.
Once everyone is on the boat the Capitan will open the sail and start sailing into the open sea, just a few km from the coast, allowing you to admire dolphins or whales in their natural environment. Tenerife is one of the few places in the world where they live permanently in front of the coast. Spotting them is 100% guaranteed and, the crew is usually aware of the whales’ location as all the boats in the area informed each other of any sightings by radio.
Halfway through the excursion, you will stop next to the bay of Playa Diego Hernandez where you will have the opportunity to go snorkeling in the blue crystal water or relax on deck and eat fresh sandwiches and fruit prepared for you. The mini-bar will stay open during all trips.
It’s easy (but not guaranteed) to spot turtles and other beautiful fish. You will find all the equipment you need to go snorkeling on board or you can also bring your own. The boat will remain anchored for 30 to 45 minutes, then you will leave the bay to return to the marina.
On the way back you will sail next to the coast to enjoy a better view of the south beaches. You can admire the scenery and take photos of the majestic Mount Teide volcano from the sea.
